The group and I got together, and we started thinking about what our final product was going to be. It was very rich to have been exposed to the artists we viewed in class, as it really helped point us in the right direction. With all of the creative energy around us, it was exciting to explore the possibility of a more formal video and a more creative approach. For example, we could've taken a clip from an animated movie or short, or something more spooky, or maybe something more mysterious.
Anyway, because some of the videos we watched in class were in black and white, we thought it would've been awesome to have explored a clip in black and white. We looked for videos, and for some reason, we all gravitated towards the theme of a barbershop.
So then it began, we all started looking for a video.
Once we went back and forth with ideas and videos, we chose one, trimmed it, divided our roles and chose our parts.
It was quite the adventure trying to come up with ways to recreate sounds with household items. We've decided that we will meet again on Sunday after we have explored our parts individually, to do it together and have a final practice before our presentation.
